Description

*Pre-Registered Event

This laboratory will provide AVECCTN candidates an opportunity to practice advanced level skills in a critical care setting.  This lab will provide 4 stations with the following skills:

  1. Naso-gastric and Naso-esophogeal feeding tube placement and care
  2. Thoracocentesis and chest tube care, including underwater seal drainage systems
  3. Auto-transfusion techniques
  4. Analgesia for trauma patients, medical math calculations for CRI's and RER
